Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron

Allison Stokke has been a pole vaulter for nearly 20 years. Her birth date was the 22nd March 1989 in Newport Beach, California. She began her career as a pole-jumper in 2007 after a picture taken at an event when she was 17. Instagram and Twitter has seen her gain an enormous social followers. She is an athlete who has a similar track record similar to Jessica Ennis Hill. Los Angeles Times noted, amongst others, that Stokke was not seeking or encouraging such attention. Brett Hutchins and David Rowe in Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society, linked Stokke's situation to American soccer athletes Alex Morgan and Hope Solo. Both were accused of sexual harassment and their public image was depicted in a way they claimed was devaluing their accomplishments of the athletes. Stokke's comments on social media frequently insult and attribute the sexualization of the process to the female athletes. Women from other backgrounds drew parallels to Brandi's celebration of her sports bra when she was awarded the FIFA Women's World Cup in 1999. The women claimed that debates on appearance overshadowed sporting moments for women. An editor from an Californian site that covers track and field took pictures of Stokke in New York at the beginning of 2007. Images were shared on the internet. In May, the photo was then re-posted on With Leather a sports blog with a large male fanbase remarking on the attractiveness of the 17-year-old Stokke with the caption Pole Vaulting is Sexy Barely Legal. Matt Ufford, the owner of the site where the photograph was posted was threatened with a lawsuit by the photographer in the event that the photo were not taken down. The article did however receive lots of interest from other websites and also the image was subsequently removed. A memorial website for Stokke quickly appeared with photos of her in the pole vault, and following the spread of these photos on social media websites, fan groups attracted many thousands of fans. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. Her high school graduation was to take place in Florida. Alyce made the decision in 1974 that she would make a career change through an internship. Alyce is proud to be the sister of an academic. Her sister works as an instructor at a university and her family is supportive of her. Alyce has a family that is located within Texas. Their father works with his employer, the U.S. Army. Three years ago they honored their father's birthday. Alyce uploaded a photo of her beautiful daughter on social media to acknowledge her father's contributions towards the U.S. Army. She also gives more time to her education. She has excelled in the national merit scholarship offered by the University and celebrated her 22nd birthday in 2022.
