Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She attended Arnold School Blackpool, where she scored straight A's for her A-levels. She is disappointed that she did not get a normal college education in her discussion of her experience at Emmerdale. Coleman was in High School, was a member of a theatre group called In Yer Space. They presented the show Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. Her performance was well-received, and the play received positive reviews. Coleman was given the part in the role of Jasmine Thomas at Emmerdale while auditioning in drama schools in 2005. Coleman was nominated for awards in 2007 and won two prizes. In 2007, Coleman was nominated for two awards, The British Soap Awards as the Most Popular Newcomer and also the National Television Awards as the Most Popular. In the British Soap Awards of 2009 she was nominated under the categories Best Actress and Sexiest female, as well as Best Dramatic Acting. Coleman got an award at the TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. On 21 March 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat confirmed at a press conference that Coleman will as the Doctor's companion along with Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat claimed that he selected Coleman to be the companion because she would work best with Smith. In addition, Moffat noted that she was more talkative than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her work in the business since 1987, and was a part of many TV and film projects. She has been much more prominent on TV than films. Eva has appeared in a number of television parts, however her roles as Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children' and Detective Natalia Boa Vistas of CSI Miami have stood out. Her first TV role earned 2 Daytime Emmy nominations, and allowed her to develop the love of music in her. Eva as well as being an actress is also a philanthropist, businesswoman and entrepreneur. Eva has three husbands and one child born from the third.
