Lis Wehl was born on September 19, 1961, in the US, is an author and the former legal expert of Fox News.
She is an adjunct law professor of law at New York Law School. In the past she served as an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She provided legal commentary on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor as well as National Public Radio. She is a weekly guest for The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File w/ Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs Now. The Imus Breakfast Shows. The Legal Lis podcast and radio show.
Wiehl is an Yakima resident who graduated from West Valley High School. She received her bachelor's degree in English from Barnard College, followed by an MA in literature from University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl was a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She worked as a correspondent for legal issues for NPR's All Things Considered. She served as the Chief Investigating Counsel for the Democrats from the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. Her tenure at University of Washington School of Law Seattle was from 1995 to 2001. She ran the school's Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl worked as a Fox News legal analyst from 2001 until 2017.
